Description of PEEK Resin
PEEK resin, namely polyetheretherketone resin, is a kind of special engineering plastic with excellent performance.
It contains a large number of benzene rings in its molecular structure, which endows it with many outstanding characteristics. Firstly, its high-temperature resistance performance is excellent and it can work stably for a long time in a high-temperature environment of about 250℃. Its mechanical strength is also outstanding, with high strength and high toughness, and strong compression and bending resistance.
At the same time, PEEK resin has good chemical stability and can resist the corrosion of various strong acids and alkalis. In terms of electrical performance, it has a low dielectric constant and a low loss factor, and the insulation is excellent.
In addition, PEEK resin has excellent wear resistance and a low friction coefficient. Its processing performance is also relatively ideal and can be molded by various methods such as injection molding and extrusion. For example, in the medical field, it is often used to manufacture high-precision components such as artificial joints; in the aerospace field, it can be used to manufacture key components in the engine.
